Sport Activities

Sports is a trademark of our institution and with the availability of spots turf the students are trained for athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Handball, Judo, Badminton, Kabaddi, rifle shooting etc. There are sport coach teacher for all the above games who personally train, register and take the students for their representation of games at various levels. The coaches ensure hard work, practice and discipline the students in the games. The students are thus trained with best instruments and equipment both in mornings and evenings.


Our students have thus been selected and represented themselves at district, state and national level for the games.

Youth Parliament

17th Youth Parliament Competition

Maharani Shree Nandkunverba Mahila Arts and Commerce College organized the 17th Youth Parliament Competition in Bhavnagar for the first time, with the entire program supervised by representatives appointed by the Central Government. This was the first Youth Parliament held in Bhavnagar. The Central Government’s approach is to ensure that young people are informed about the roles and responsibilities of Members of Parliament, so that they can take informed and appropriate action if they become MPs in the future.

In this competition, the Central Government was represented by Chanakya National Law University Registrar Professor Dr. S. P. Singh, former MP from Bhavnagar Shri Rajendrasinhji Rana, and Honorary Minister of Bhavnagar Stree Kelvani Mandal Shri Dhirenbhai Vaishnav. The students of the college, various political parties, opposition members, and delegates participated in this program. The college trustees, staff, and students of the college, along with the special presence of the royal family, Maharani Saheb Shree H.H. Samyukta Devi, were also present.

Mini Olympic


Mini Olympic


Mini Olympic is our version of the international Olympics. The students and teachers compete according to their allotted houses, Amrita (Blue House), Kalpana (Red House), Sarojini (Yellow House) and Kiran (Green House). The institute follows the pattern of Olympics where there is an opening ceremony followed by inter-house competitions in various sports ranging from track and field to basketball, handball and volleyball.

The Olympics conclude with a prize distribution ceremony. There is a spirit of excitement, joy, and healthy competition amongst students during this time. Over the years the Mini Olympic has had distinguished chief guests.



Cultural Activities

A cultural programme is held on campus which focuses on showcasing different cultural elements of not only India but also of the whole world. The students showcase their talent in dancing, singing, playing of different instruments which are both traditional and modern. The students develop their all-round personality with the help of this activity.

NCC

NCC works for the current socio–economic scenario of the country. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit. Following the aims, the college students have joined the NCC in various wings to ensure that they prove to be an able citizen of the country.

Maharanishree Nandkunverba Mahila Arts and Commerce college since its inception in 2016 has been actives a part of NCC to ensure physical and mental development of the students and through their calibre and abilities were able to reach great heights, of which Gohil Priyankaba , Chauhan Dhara, Gohil Bhumikaba, Chudasama Hiralba, Vaghela Poojaba, vala Leenaba have proved to be brilliant NCC cadets in all three wings that is Air force, Navy and Army.

It is a important to note that our student Chudasama Hiralba who is a Cadet Warrant Officer has got selected for AIVSC ( All India Vayu Sainik Camp) in Bengaluru. Chudasama Hiralba has previously attended four PRE VSC camp. She will also be honored to attend the national camp which will be held in Bengaluru.

The other noteworthy achievement is of Makwana Vishwa from the navy wing has passed C certificate examination.

Youth Festivals


The Youth Festival is held at the university level to encourage student participation in various talent-based activities such as folk dances, folk songs, marriage songs, traditional songs, dramatics, art and craft, etc. Colleges affiliated with Maharaja Krishnakumar Sinh University (MKBU) compete in this festival, and we are proud that our students have secured prizes in a range of competitions, including Garba, dramatics, art and craft, and group songs.


To enhance the skills and talents of our students, professional experts from each field are invited to train the students in these activities. This provides them with exposure and training under the best, helping to further develop their raw talents.
