Counselling

The Counseling Cell is run by the expert on-campus counselor, Dr. Ayanaben Trivedi. She is a professional and trained counselor, offering services on campus by prior appointment. She provides both personal and professional counseling services.


The Counseling Cell also organizes seminars and workshops on various mental health issues, stress management, and everyday life challenges.


The Counseling Cell also provides career counseling services through Maa Foundation, including aptitude tests, guidance on career choices, and mock interviews to help students build confidence and improve their body language for interviews.

Teachers' Day Celebration

On September 5, 2024, the college celebrated Teachers' Day on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Around 30 girls participated, and their teaching was evaluated by professors. Students later shared their experiences in a concluding program.

Himachal Pradesh & Punjab Tour

From September 21 - September 30, 2024, students explored Manali, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, and visited the Attari Border and Golden Temple in Punjab, experiencing diverse Indian cultures.

Anti-Ragging
Anti-Ragging Awareness

A special seminar was organized by the Anti-Ragging Cell in the college to create awareness among girls under the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The main objective of this program was to educate them about their rights to protection from ragging and the rules against it.

📌 Program Planning:

The seminar started at 2:00 PM. The keynote speaker was Professor Mayursinh Sarvaiya. The Principal welcomed the attendees and highlighted the program's objectives.

Professor Mayursinh guided the girls on the following topics:

1️⃣ What is ragging?

  • Types of ragging and its legally defined meaning.
  • Adverse impacts on students' mental and physical health.

⚖️ Legal measures against ragging:

  • Strict punishments under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
  • UGC anti-ragging rules and their enforcement.
  • Process for lodging complaints at college and university levels.

🎓 Rights of students:

  • Awareness of students' rights against ragging.
  • Contact details of the college’s Anti-Ragging Cell.

💡 Encouragement to find solutions:

  • How to handle ragging situations with confidence.
  • Seeking help from counselors for psychological support.
